Mohd Azizee Hasan, the president of the Malaysian Muslim Teachers Association, commends the ministry’s efforts but stresses the significance of a thoughtful and effective execution of the plan. Before immersing students in AI education, he advocates for a strong focus on basic literacy skills, underscoring their fundamental importance.
It is estimated that over 435,000 Malaysian school students face learning difficulties, with more than 280,000 struggling to master essential foundational skills.
